MATTIA RIAMI

After attending high school at the 'School of Art' in Venice, I moved to Milan to continue my studies at the IED (European Institute of Design). I worked for ten years in the graphic design team at United Colors of Benetton; and subsequently I collaborated with Goppion Caffè, Garance and Marion Gallery, Fallani Venezia and Brillo magazine. In my work I always try to combine my studies based on traditional techniques with the new digital techniques available today. My works synthesize these two worlds, making them indispensable to each other.

I'm Laura, PhD in architecture and wandering artist based in Venice. I create visual collages with fragments of cities, paper, life. Venice is my city, a city - as Brodsky says - made of porcelain, with zinc domes that look like teapots and suspended bell towers that tinkle like teaspoons. I invite you to walk dancing to the rhythm of its waves, until you reach a timeless elsewhere.

For me, Venice is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Its canals, its small streets, its sounds and its silences pushed me to create my own art, minimalist and linear. It is a city that is always the same, but always different, where I live every day in its solid fragility.

MARCELLO DELLA PUPPA

Born in Venice, raised in Venice and will probably die in Venice, I love it! There are some problems, just like in any relationship, but we're trying to preserve what's good together with the Feelin' Venice guys. I currently study graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts after having attended the artistic high school in Venice, with the intention of making it my job here in my city...

There is no other city as special as Venice, no matter where you come from. The experience of living here and there has given me a mixed perspective towards this beloved city, both as an outsider and an insider. I hope my illustrations take you into a world full of fantasy, the same way Venice brought me into it.

I was born and raised here in Venice and I can't imagine living in another city. I obtained a degree in Art and Economics from Ca' Foscari University. I love art and creativity, but more than anything, I love Venice! So, from the beginning, I embraced the Feelin' Venice philosophy.

I am a Graphic Design student at the IUAV University of Venice. Since high school, Venice has given me the opportunity to study and have fun, to cultivate my passion and to become the protagonist of my illustrations. I hope to represent, together with the Feelin' Venice team, our city in an original and authentic way.

When you grow up in Venice, you can't imagine living anywhere else. I've lived in London, Lisbon and Madrid, but this is my place in the world. In a nutshell, this is the Feelin' Venice project: my city seen through the lenses of young artists as passionate as I am.

Venice is rich in history, tradition and beauty, and this is why I would like to express my point of view with Feelin' Venice, embracing this young and fresh project. I am a young designer who studied in Venice and who loves this city. I would like to give back to this fantastic city everything it has given me.

Venezia è la mia città di adozione, mi sono trasferita qui a 19 anni, nel 2018, per studiare scenografia all'Accademia di Belle Arti. Da veneziana acquisita, posso dire che Venezia ti fa affogare (letteralmente, vedi acqua alta 2019) prima di accoglierti profondamente, è il suo modo di accettarti. Credo che Feelin’ Venice sia una realtà che fa convivere le due anime di Venezia alla perfezione, un'anima piena di ricchezze famose in tutto il mondo, turisti e gondole e una più intima, che esprime l'unicità di vivere in un posto uguale a nessun altro.

Venezia è la mia città, la studio e la conosco ogni giorno un po' di più, poiché mantiene viva la mia curiosità, come un "merletto" con l'intreccio dei suoi fili. Venezia è la mia città e mi piace ridisegnarla: la esprimo come una città vivente attraverso le sue tradizioni e le persone che le mantengono contemporanee.

Nasce a Padova, e come tutti i figli di Chernobyl ha deciso di non scegliere una professione, ma di farne molte: professore alla Scuola Internazionale di Comics e in altri enti e istituti, guida museale, organizzatore di eventi, copywriter, grafico, architetto, sceneggiatore, ubriacone da bar. Ama le Arti la pop culture e combatte per i Creativi. Gli piace il suo nome intero, ma se lo chiamate Max per fare prima, si gira uguale.

Nato nella provincia di Venezia nel 1987, dopo l’Accademia di Belle Arti ha iniziato la sua avventura creativa come illustratore e fumettista. Ha collaborato con le case editrici Disney e Dupuis. Oggi progetta le storie e gli ambienti dei parchi a tema… e non ha ancora trovato una caramella gommosa che non gli piaccia.
